FAQ

First, email us at BuddysAngelsRescue@gmail.com and you will fill out and complete the BAR adoption application. If you are approved via the application, a meet & greet will be be scheduled. If you are still interested, next is a home check. If you do not allow one, we will deny the application immediately.  We check for adequate fencing and overall safety of the property. If the home check is approved, then there is one last document to sign, along with a $250 non-refundable adoption fee. 

A foster is a person who temporarily houses an animal while a permanent home is found. With BAR, supplies are provided and others may be reimbursed. Above all, a foster must be responsible, adequate to provide care, and follow the instructions given by the rescue and found in the contract. 

We are located in West Hollywood. We only adopt out in So-Cal.  If you are not in our area, please email us and we can send you a list of other rescues in your city.  There are ALWAYS animals around you that need a loving and safe home.

An application may be denied if it is incomplete. It can also be denied if there are falsehoods and untruths or deception. 

We reserve the right to deny any application that we deem unfit for any reason. 

Not to fear, BAR enlists the help of top dog training professionals to help correct and modify current issues. If you need help, they will help! Simply ask and we will guide you to the right trainer.
